Bug 33: CLOSED
Bash is not made the default shell
Date: 2012-06-16 20:32 - Creator: BugRaiser - Priority standard - 2 messages
Actually, 2 problems to report: 1. If I install bash from tazpanel, it is not made the default shell, I have to install it from command line and answer 'yes' when prompted 2. After installing bash, I have to manually edit /etc/passwd to make it the default shell, although /bin/sh is a symlink to bash: /bin/sh -> /bin/bash; I also had to manually copy /etc/bashrc into ~/.bashrc
Affected package(s): bash

Or you could just use tazpkg -gi bash --forced from the terminal...
