Bug 118: CLOSED

Kernel panic at boot

After spending way too much time trying to fix this I was surprized to 
find only one bug report and it was closed..
Tried to install SliTaz several times on HardDrive attached to USB. Tried to 
learn GRUB but in the end I had to turn off Fixed HardDrive in BIOS and 
selected removable device as well to get drive to boot...

I dont understand at all becouse i dont know very well english but you 
have installed Grub bootloader?? I tried to install slitaz without Grub 
bootloader and it did not start. then i reinstalled slitaz with grub bootloader 
and it worked. Sorry if this answer isnt right :(

Not clear to me if the problem of the bug reporter was in Slitaz or in a 
BIOS setting.
This bug report is very old, so I'm closing it. Feel free to reopen if 
necessary (with additional info).
