The Search for Files or Folders app is useless

I go to the Applications menu -> Utilities -> Search for Files or Folders
I add my home directory to Places to Search
I create an empty file test.txt in my home directory
I write test.txt in the File Name Contains field
I press the Find button
The file is not found
The situation doesn't change if I use wildcards: *.txt, test*, *test*

The only situation when results are displayed is when I search for *, but this
doesn't achieve the functionality for which this app has been created.

Works perfectly fine when I search *.txt in my home directory (/home/brenton)
Hence I cannot reproduce. Closing this bug.
